Where I work we have casual Fridays. Most people don't, and dress in suits, skirts and heels as usual. Last Thursday my friend Julie said wouldn't it be funny if someone wore their pjs and slippers one Friday. I said what’s the big deal? One of the guys i work over heard and started to laugh. He said that I would never wear my pjs and slippers to work. I said I would too. He said i bet you whatever you want you wouldn't do it. I accepted and the terms were if I did, he would be my maid/servant/spa boy. He would come to my house Friday night and that’s when it would start. I would have a bell to ensure I stayed comfortable. He agreed on the terms. Friday came I wore my matching heart flannel pj pants and top with my pink fuzzy slippers. It was quite embarring so I want my revenge. What is the name is my little bitty orange tetra fish?

I bought two little orange tetras over a year ago when they insisted on staying in the bag with the neon tetras I was buying. I didn't catch their name and still don't know what they are. All I caught was that they were tetras. They're a little less than 1/2 an inch long with a forked tail and are a bright orange color. They're pretty calm little guys and prefer to hang out in the plants, though they periodically venture out and investigate the antics of the more playful tetras. I tossed them in my 57 gallon tank recently and am trying to figure out what they are before I start adding some other types of fish (and I would like to get them a few more friends of their own type). Raised bumps in the center of both of my thumbs?

Both of my thumbs, on the pad side, have a raised bump in the center of them. When I look at my thumb from above, it looks like there is some kind of tiny soft ball underneath the skin which is causing the raised area but if I press on them I can't feel anything in there. If I slowly run my finger across them, while it's travelling the bump disappears and my thumb looks flat, but after I lift it off again the bump reappears. So I don't know what's causing them to be raised but the fact I have it in both my thumbs in the exact same place is pretty weird. Any corrective surgery for this?

Asking professional chefs! I'm looking for sauce/gravy recipe when cooking pork loin roast in crock pot.?

I've heard chefs say that cooking a pork loin roast in apple juice with apples and raisins is good. I tried it & it is good. Recently I heard Chef Anthony Bourdain say that cooking it in pears with pear juice is even better. He's right, it is better. Now I would like to make a sauce or a gravy out of the broth made by the juice and fruit. I tried just today making pork loin roast with peaches and it's very good too. But there again I need a recipe for a sauce to make with these fruits. Got any ideas? Also what side dishes most enhance a pork loin roast. I recently served it with Asparagus and mashed potatoes and carrots cooked with er and honey. (I don't like adding a white veggie to a white meat but did it for my husband.) Thanks for the help.

MRSA and swine flu? Should I be worried?

When I was 12 or so, I was diagnosed with MRSA (on the inside of my stomach). I remember I was told that this would weaken my immune system and that even the strongest antibiotics wouldn't help because I was immune to them....Yesterday I started with a sore throat, headache, and over the night a fever (only went to 101 though). I'm just wondering if this MRSA and its symptoms of having a weekend immune system still applies even though it happened 9 years ago?? If I do have a weakened immune system then this will affect the flu--probably make it worse??

International connection in LAX?

I am thinking about flying into the newly opened Tokyo-Haneda airport from LAX. Does anyone know how it works to connect in LAX to an international destination? it is hard for me to ask this question because so far i have believed that it is impossible to spoil a baby before 6 months. however, i feed my baby regularly and when i put him down and walk away he starts to fidget a lot and sometimes cry. he acts like he is hungry but uses my nipple as a pacifier when i feed him again. when i pick him up and go to do things with him he is fine and falls asleep against my chest. i love him a lot and i think it might just be that he needs me near him for comfort because he's so little, but i have to do other things around my house. even right now i am holding him while on the computer. he is 6 weeks old and very healthy. if anyone understands... advise please.

It has improved greatly! My son is over there now, his 3rd deployment, and he has told me about everything they've done to help the people. Many of those displaced are going home. New schools have been built, things are much better for them then when Saddam was ruling. All the soldiers ask is to let them finish their job. If Obama becomes president and pulls them out too soon, many will probably get out of the service as soon as they can. Hi, I am a 20 yr old female and I was wondering what good dietary supplements are there to take?

I've been screened for hyperthyroidism and I do not have it but I eat right and exercise but I can't seem to lose weight. How can i have a nightmare tonight?

My mom said she'd give me a face mage if i ever woke up from a bad dream. Sometimes i used to dream of my worst fear and the one time my mom actually came into my room and i was crying and screaming. So she made me a hot chocolate and gave me a face mage. It was lovely of her. She can't sleep that well at night and she only does them things when i've had a bad dream. I haven't for ages though. Last time she did it was when i had swine flu last year. Monster in Law from hell?

I swear I have a monster for a mother in law. I just recently had a miscarriage and I am in deep grieving. Work gave me 2 days and if I need to 3 to get over this. Well she wanted to hang out with me and my sister in laws which seemed okay to me in the beginning. Then on the way home she rode with me. I told her that I wanted to go home and she went nuts after that. She started saying that I never want to be with her and that I push people away and the worse one was she told me I never was pregnant and that she refuses to believe that her son lost a baby. That did it for me. I was crying and I was the one driving. She told me to pull over into a Kangaroo gas station so that my other sister in laws could pick her up. She even went as far as to call my husband and tell him that she doesn't believe she lost a grandbaby when in fact she did. My husband will not stand up to her. Everytime I am in the car with her she brings up finances with me and makes me upset. And now this happened and I honestly don't think I want to see her at all anymore. I don't know what to do. My husband's blood pressure has been through the roof, and the hospital bills, and pain & suffering, loss of sleep, stressed, and we are NEWLYWEDS!! All depends on the kid...my son was born at 9lbs 10 oz and ate like you are describing, never liked the pacifer...he was on a mix of formula and milk, but it seems as though it was endless eating. I worried about the amount he was eating all the time. He also gained weight like a madman, the doctor was never worried, he just told us he was going to be a big kid and had a lot of growth spurts. He is now 32 months 43 inches tall and 45 lbs. and is still a voracious, yet very healthy eater. He is predicted to be between 6'7'' and 6'10'' and has growth spurts very often. His hunger waxes and wains and there are period that he will eat very little and then periods where he can eat all day. Like I said, it all just depends on the kid, your boy could just be one of the lucky ones that may be a basketball or football player someday! If your doctor is not concerned I wouldn't stress out too much, just follow the docs suggestions and enjoy your big, healthy boy. Good luck!

How do you fix years of improper shaving?

Ever since a few years ago I have shaved improperly because I always get ingrown hairs or get razor burn. Is this because I shave the wrong direction? Which way is the way your suppose to shave your facial hair? I heard shaving against the grain is a no..but what does that necessarily mean? I don't remember any real specifics about him, only that he was captured and released within the past few years in the middle east. His captors ended up contacting him and his family once he was back in the states, as I recall. I have swine flu and i'm a bit worried?

yes the junipers will work very well, I would recomend The variety 'BLUE PACFIC' it is dwarf in height only gets 1' tall and spreads to 5' wide and will trail down the wall on it on. This type will not give the carpet look it gives a more viney appearence, for a carpet look use variety 'BLUR RUG' grows to 4" and give the solid flat carpet look I would rate neither of these as fast growers but I think they will fit the bill for what your want there.

Why is my digital tv reception very poor at times?

we have a set top box as well as digital on our tv, we have serious problems with it, at times it breaks up so badly that we can barely watch it. We have re-set it numerous times, to no avail. Could living in front of a train line have anything to do with it, or could it simply be the outside ariel. We live in a flat so access to check ariel hampered. Atlantic city New Jersey is sad.?

i went to Atl City for the First time last week, wow, the saddest,cruel and rundown resort area ive ever seen. First off, it's like two streets of fancy buildings and hotels and casinos and then across the street is the ghetto. To me it was depressing seeing the trump palace and the bally's and one street over is sadly crack dealers (i saw them) and the projects, to me its a slap in the face to A C residents, they have to look at people throw way money in gambling and across the street people have trouble finding food and keeping ends met, i live in a resort tourist city, Virginia beach, but my city doesn't have guest in their hotel look out side and see ghetto, you see normal houses. My question all that money the city makes, where is it going because its not going towards Development for the city.

I am against everything in the public health care plan, I support teachers and am against the plan to fire so many different educators and eliminate collective bargaining (in some states). I am pro-choice, pro-gay marriage. I think the U.S. should help the people of Libya. I also think alternative energy should be heavily investigated and researched, and our own oil reserves should be used meanwhile to reduce the high gas cost in this economy. I think we need to stop being close allies with Saudi Arabia (another reason why we need to have alternative energy), especially since many of the people involved with 9/11 were from there. I think people should be allowed to possess guns, but certain types of guns that are unnecessary should not be allowed (like AK-47s). I also think there should be a screening process to obtain a gun, such as for psychiatric disorders or certain criminal records.
