MRSA and swine flu? Should I be worried?

When I was 12 or so, I was diagnosed with MRSA (on the inside of my stomach). I remember I was told that this would weaken my immune system and that even the strongest antibiotics wouldn't help because I was immune to them....Yesterday I started with a sore throat, headache, and over the night a fever (only went to 101 though). I'm just wondering if this MRSA and its symptoms of having a weekend immune system still applies even though it happened 9 years ago?? If I do have a weakened immune system then this will affect the flu--probably make it worse??
