When will the "It's Israel's fault" excuse get old?
How can people be so gullible?? Following the capture earlier this week of 49 Hizbollah operatives inside Egypt (further straining the already sour relationship between Egypt and Iran) who were planning on attacking Israeli and Egyptian targets, Egypt announced that it was not "a playground" for Iran to play in (as is Lebanon). Iran's response? "You've got it all wrong, this is all just part of the Zionist plot to create tension in the Muslim world." At what point do ideas like this become widely accepted as ridiculous? These were Hizbollah terrorists (funded and trained by Iran in Syria, another of its puppet Arab countries) caught, in Egypt by Egyptian intelligence and officials, planning attacks against Israel AND Egypt. It seems to me like it really is the case that everything wrong between the Arab-Muslim countries is blamed on Israel no matter how outlandish it seems. I know people are going to argue with this, but think about it. Really think. Even if you believe Israel has done horrible things (which is a different topic entirely, for a differet thread), you have to at least admit that despite Iran's reurance, Hizbollah operatives in Egypt planning to attack Egyptian targets is not part of the "Zionist plot."
