Atlantic city New Jersey is sad.?

i went to Atl City for the First time last week, wow, the saddest,cruel and rundown resort area ive ever seen. First off, it's like two streets of fancy buildings and hotels and casinos and then across the street is the ghetto. To me it was depressing seeing the trump palace and the bally's and one street over is sadly crack dealers (i saw them) and the projects, to me its a slap in the face to A C residents, they have to look at people throw way money in gambling and across the street people have trouble finding food and keeping ends met, i live in a resort tourist city, Virginia beach, but my city doesn't have guest in their hotel look out side and see ghetto, you see normal houses. My question all that money the city makes, where is it going because its not going towards Development for the city.
