Need traveling advice 2 lebanon!?

i am planing on going to a trip to lebanon i heard is a beutifull country and i really wanna go there for vacation this year can anyone give me some information to what i need to bring, i am an american do i need a lebanese visa or something like that? any help will be usefull thank you:)
