Mormons: Why don't you believe your own doctrine?

Two reasons. One they change their doctrine regularly to fit the times. It's a strength of their religion. So it is always doctrine, like having multiple wives, but is no longer practiced as it is replaced. Two, like all Christians they don't know their own doctrine or history very well.
